Never. there is nothing attractive about living in that city. I honestly wouldn't want to live anywhere but St. Louis. I just wish the blacks weren't slwly ruining it. Pizza delivery people have it hard. There was a point in time when I had to take a job delivering pizza and there were plenty of areas in town where we wouldnt deliver. It's a pretty decent house for someone my age. I wasn't aware that there were so many 23 year olds on here that live in half million dollar homes.

My parents once lived a couple of blocks away from the hood, but it slowly developed over 20 years and they would have never predicted it. When they saw it coming to a head, they sold the house, profited 15k, and moved to the outskirts of town.

I don't live in the St. Louis city limits. I live in a town called I live off of Big Bend in Manchester. Its probably 95% white .5% Black. There is justa project they built at the edge of the city called Michum park that a lot of problems come out of. I choose to live here because it is nice area close to downtown, close to my office near Westport.

As far as affording a new place, I can afford to live in just about any area of the city I want to save for a few- not saying I could purchase some really expensive home, but Have no problem paying $1500+ month for an apartment, which is about as high as any 1200-1500 sqft place will get in the whole area.

I really enjoy St. Louis, I have a lot going on here, plus family friends etc. As income increases, I will probably head further and further into the city. My eventual goal is to have an office in the city so I can really step things up with the company.

No I really didn't know, I'm not from around here. I didn't buy the house either, I'm renting it. The area around me is extremely nice, and 2 blocks in the other direction is full of million dollar homes.
