Since I'm in over my head reading Systematic Theologies, listening to Catholic Apologists argue for scripture and tradition, debating JWs and defending the faith in the streets, I have do not have time to read this book. I want a 4 page book report from each of you. The due date is July 25.

I read this thread in it's entirety, and I began to ponder.
I asked myself, "is he serious?" The answer was a quick "no."

Your excuses don't excuse you. Besides, infants sleep most of the time. The book is only 172 pages long. You should be able to read this in about a week and a half.

I have the six part series by John on CD...as usual, it's excellent...the Futurist position is the only point of view that makes sense at all if you take the scripture literally/seriously...people who think we're living in the Millennium now, or that's it's a metaphorical time period, or that Christ does not return to personally rule and reign, are ignorant or just plain stubborn


How can you be sure of your truth unless you are willing to listen to other points of view? You may be correct but you are no different than any other dupe who is unwilling to even consider another POV.

I'm already a pre-trib pre-mill rapturist. But since this is all I've ever been taught, I must investigate other potential theories.

well, I've studied prophecy for 20+ years...I can afford a little boldness in the Lord

But do you see my point? Maybe you've already done it, I feel it is necessary to view critical arguments against my beliefs. Only then can I feel reasonably sure of my views.
