It's basically an extension of the Bible that was said to have been written by celestial beings/extra terrestrials and goes into much greater detail, the actual nature of God and Jesus. Also tells you about the divine nature of their being and what their true purpose is in relation to existant of most importantly, us, his divine children.
It even tells you what the true purpose of mortal human life is and how to follow this purpose.
It basically says that Jesus is the divine ruler of this entire Universe. Out of all of the planets in his entire galaxy that is of his own creation that he could have incarnated in human form, he chose Earth, otherwise known as Urantia. In order for a Son to become true soveriegn of his own Universe he has to become a creature of the likeness of his Fathers creation and experience to the fullest the existance of a mortal man. He had to do all of this while for the first time doing the true will of the Father to the people that Jesus would become the divine king of.
This book will tell you the true nature of who and what Jesus is. It claims if you knew the true nature of what you really are and who God is you would not condemn yourself to a railing judgement.
