My buddy made me drink a glass of Johnnie Walker Blue Label once by telling me what "great scotch" it was. Great scotch or not, it still tasted like scotch and I almost booted.

Talisker is one my my current favorites actually, as well as Oban.
I also like MaCallan 25, when I'm able to expense shit, because there's no way I'm paying $60 for a glass of Scotch.
As for Bourbon, I'm not picky, I prefer Maker's or Knob Creek.
I also like Dark Rum, preferably Black Seal or Meyers.

I used to love crown royal, but any more can't drink too much of it without getting sick.
