Ok' I figured out the real way to bypass the lockout on the new pioneer nav systems. It is real simple,and does not require any complex switches or anything. this bypass will do two things:
1-Makes all nav functions available while driving(just like they should be)
2-Makes video playback available while driving

AVIC-N2: Underneath the unit is a small silver sticker,peel this back.there are two contacts with the label "R197" drop a bit of solder between these two to connect them(or use a small piece of wire to jump both points)
BE CAREFULL These are two small ass soldering points and its a delicate circuit board! (Use a LOW POWER soldering iron and Flux)

AVIC-D1: Find an extra pioneer wire harness, and pull one of the wires out.
in the AVIC-D1 harness,there is a one open spot on the connector Put this wire into the open spot on the connector,and connect the wire to ground, And you are done!

cool i figured it wouldnt be long till someone was able to hack it, the rep told us it couldnt be bypassed(whatever)

i got a easier way to do N2 with no solder, take a video wire and run it from rear view carea to back seat output for monitor, it runs in a loop, and it wont effect warranty like solder would :)
