I'd like to move all my music and movies off my main HD and onto an external HD. I'd like 200+ GB, and for it to be pretty fast.

Any recommendations?

Dont' buy an external HD... buy a regular HD and an enclosure for it. Save yourself $100.

Or get one of these:

You basically pop your internal drives in and out like a SNES cartridges.
