Better save some money for a blower. If you black out the Crown Vic people will thing you're a Ford guy with Impala SS envy. Other than that they are decent cars. The transmissions are expensive to rebuild. They have bigger roll bars (someone told me factory bilsteins too) They also have auxilary oil and trans coolers, bigger radiators and routien maintinance. I kinda want one too. I saw a batch of '01s with just over 100k bring less than $3500 each at an auction last week. They are sold as is at dealer sales so people tend to be affraid of them. but even if you get a bad one (not likely) you're not out that much cash. Plenty of power on tap and have plenty of go fast goodies you can buy. Black Vic with Black wheels and black tint would be a damn sexy car. I've always liked CV's. DO NOT buy a Caprice. Has to be one of the ugliest US land yachts ever built. |
