Zero 12-13-2006, 04:51 PM http://cgi.ebay.com/Nintendo-Wii-System-Box-Great-Display-Condition_W0QQitemZ170060701433QQihZ007QQcategoryZ 62054QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem wonner 12-13-2006, 04:54 PM lol...someones gonna be real disappointed. aznpoopy 12-13-2006, 05:13 PM lol. iirc this happened for 360 too. brilliant! $100T2 12-13-2006, 05:18 PM Wow. Reading really is fundamental. Zero 12-13-2006, 05:24 PM I thought it was funny, but what if it's someone that doesn't speak proficient English? The buyer also looks like they don't use ebay much. 30 transactions in ~5 years... mainly around Christmas. The auction just ended today, so hopefully they get my message first. I sent them one explaining they were just going to get a box. I'd hate for someone's Christmas to be ruined... they lose $500, and the kid doesn't get what they want. Call me soft, whatever... I don't give a shit, I'd rather the guy attempting to rip ignorant people off get pissed than someone lose money. FSURedFD 12-13-2006, 05:26 PM Imagine paying 1500 for a ps3 box...because I saw that a while ago too. wonner 12-13-2006, 05:40 PM I agree with what you did, Zero, but if you're to stupid or lazy to actually read the auction, perhaps you deserve to get burnt. Some lessons are often learned the hard way. AmishBoy 12-13-2006, 05:56 PM Well it may have been someone not familiar with Ebay. Like someone's mom or something. Bottom line people like that seller should get kicked in the nuts. wotnartd 12-13-2006, 08:12 PM Zero is nice man. wotnartd 12-13-2006, 08:29 PM whats' the current illiteracy rate in the U.S.? I heard it was amazingly high It only takes one to make a fool of themselves. R281 12-13-2006, 09:08 PM I often wonder how some people make it through life. $100T2 12-13-2006, 09:14 PM I thought it was funny, but what if it's someone that doesn't speak proficient English? He might make $500, but something will happen to him that will cost him 10 times more, and then he'll think, "Gee, why me???" Zero 12-13-2006, 09:54 PM Good job. I also think that karma will fuck that seller up. He might make $500, but something will happen to him that will cost him 10 times more, and then he'll think, "Gee, why me???" Yeah, the word "karma" typically makes me puke when people use it to wish bad luck upon others, aka "karma is a bitch!"... but I'm a firm believer in the concepts of karma... you get what you give. wotnartd 12-14-2006, 12:26 PM I don't buy any of that "karma" junk: this life favors the aggressive and the bold, period (intelligence and looks don't hurt, either) but, this life is "only a vapor" if I didn't believe in the ultimate Judge of All Men, I couldn't cope with it all...all accounts will be settled, no one is "getting away" with anything, although it sure seems that way it's part of the test.... So, karma is equating to being judged. Karma, in the true sense is what affects you in the NEXT life, which may very well be heaven. Anything that happens to you in this life is all on your shoulders. mazdaspeedrex 12-14-2006, 12:51 PM That reminds me of the "Nice Picture-Big Screen TV" from a few years ago. wotnartd 12-14-2006, 01:17 PM it's a mystical, fictitious philosophy with roots in ancient pagan religions in the real world, evil men very often prosper (often quoted in the Psalms) I've never seen philosophy and fiction used together before... |
