I have the opportunity to buy a Pioneer GM-6200F 4 Channel 600W car amp, or a Rockford Fosgate P3002 2channel 300 watt amp for the same price. Which is the better deal?

My system is simple; a Sony CD/MP3 deck with Infinity speakers front and rear in stock sizes and locations.

I would buy the one that can play musix :P
I dont know much about audio except how to turn it on. But I did buy a home surround sound system from radio shack 4 years ago and i think it wasn't a good buy.

the answer is easy. since ur going to be running 4 speakers, 2 front and 2 rear, the obvious choice is the pioneer. unless u plan to runs subs later on, then i'd still get the pioneer, provided it will bridge to 2 ch. use it on the subs and the head unit on the other 4. do a search and see what the specs r on both amps.

Pioneer. It'll sound better, too.

Walking into radio shark was a bad idea to begin with. Why anyone would buy anything there (unless you absolutely need a part ASAP) is beyond me. $3 for a fucking fuse? $22 for a goddamned speaker? fuck that... HRO or fistells sells what I need, and they're a fraction of the cost.
