LIBERTY — Three men were in the hospital Monday after a train hit a car overnight that had run off a Liberty Road on a steep curve and landed on the tracks, police said.
Police were investigating to find out which man was driving the car and why it wrecked, said Chief Leland Miller of the Liberty Police Department.

Two men were ejected from the car when it went off the road before the train hit the car. A third man was trapped in the car when the train hit it, Miller said.

A Pickens County Sheriff's Office deputy saw the car turn off U.S. 123 onto Ruhamah Road at a high rate of speed shortly before midnight, Miller said. The deputy turned around to follow the car, but by the time he could do that the car was already out of sight.

ok, so someone in that car has really bad luck b/c not only did it run off the road, it rolled down a hill and then landed on the railraod tracks only to be hit by a train... reminds me of some freak accident death scene from that final destination movie, but they lived, good for them!
