We got home from the LA car show at around 6pm (haven't uploaded pics yet)
I was watching TV while my wife was at the next door neighbor's house. Her friend and her family just got back from a vacation in Mexico...Anywho I heard what sounded like a truck with flowmasters reving its engine accorss the street. I went outside and I saw the unmistakable lights of a late 80's early 90's LX Mustang. It was showing off in front of my neihbor's house. The guy with the impounded Bling Bling Maxima.
I heard the whine of a supercharger and noticed that the mustang had tasteful body kit. The top of the 5.0 was white and the bottom was blue. It was my friend's car! I know two colors sound nasty, but it's actually a nice color combination for that car. I wish I had some images.
The driver was acting like a total dumbass. He even did a slight burnout for the maxima guy. You could hear both of them laughing outloud. I was like WTF, my friend would never do that. He likes his car too much to be showing off like that. He drives slower than a grandma when he's not racing it. "What the hell is he doing and why is he over there?" My friend lives about an hour away and he drops by my house when he's around.
I went inside the house and called his cell phone. The conversation went something this.
me: Hey where are you at?
him: huh, why?
me: I swear I just saw you pealing out in front of my neighbor's house
him: oh yeah?? what else was "I" doing?
me: you reved a few times and fishtailed the car
him: how much did "I" make it fishtail (started to sound kinda pissed)
me: a good bit...aren't you all anal about wearing out your tires if you're not at the track?
him: I let my brother in law borrow the car! He was just supposed to do the brakes! He wasn't supposed to drive the car like that!
me: Oops!
him: what else was that **** doing?
me: That's about it man.
I quickly changed the subject and I haven't spoked to him since. It turns out that his brother in law is the bling bling maxima guy's friend
