ok guys, i have been doing some research about catch cans and i have found threads that say you should put a catch can on the pcv, i have heard to hook up the vent out the rear valve cover, the front valve cover......BTW i ahve a mazda mx6 v6...
what i was thinking of doing, since my catch can has a breather on it is one of two ways, run the front and rear valve cover vent out lets into a T and then into the catch can and the second port out to the atm and the pcv out ot the atm.... or i can run each vavle cover vent into each side of the catch can and let the breather filter do the venting and the pcv valve to the atm.....
i would appreciate any ideas and advice

Actually, it doesnt matter in the least bit :)
The MAIN thing you are going to be trying to do is make sure that you have the crankcase under vaccum. The car does this stock, the catchcan is just there to keep the oil from the PCV from getting into the intake manifold. The PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation, it's job is to keep the blowby hydrocarbons from accumulating and exploding, taking out your engine.
It's not the valve covers you want to vent so much, it's the fact that the valve cover shares the same 'air' that the crankcase does. So if you vent one, you've vented the other.
So just put the catchcan inline with the PCV, and make sure it's still hooked up to a vaccum source. :)
