where can i get a cheap paint job that looks decent? saw one that was $289 from econo but im not sure if its still that cheap. my paint isn't that bad just faded. no body work needed but im guessing it needs to be sanded first :dunno:

Believe it or not, the Econo doesn't do that bad if you get the more pricey paintjob. To get a decent paint job from Econo, you'll have to spend about $400+. That's not bad compared to spending over $1500.

Theres a guy in hendo that does a good paintjob for a decient amount, it was going to be like 600 on the eclipse for total paint and some body work. But the key is to make friends who do paint and body work, lol.

Most shops can lay down a decent coat of paint, it's the prep work (and to some extent the quality of paint) that gets done crappily on the cheap end. You should go talk to whatever shops you're considering and see if you can bring the car in sanded/ready to spray, see if you can do any of the time-consuming parts yourself so they don't do a crappy rush job, and possibly save a little more money. Ask if you can just scuff up your paint, etc.

Not saying you'll end up with a show-quality shine out of a cheap shop, even with perfect prep work...but if you spend more time on it than they do, it might look better than their normal prep. Like I said, get their opinion and then figure what your time and effort is worth to you. If you like other cars that come out of their shop it might not be worth your effort, just let them do it.

def spend the extra $$ ur gonna get just enough clear if ANY for 289... most likely thats is a 1 stage 2k Urethane paint cannot be wetsanded/buffed or it will look like crap make sure u get a primer/sealer/base/clear job u will be alot more happy w/ the job and u can always polish her up later w/ a nice clear... i couuuuld do it if i wasnt leaving to wyotech at the end of this month... but imma obviously be gone...

seen many of hondas that look just like that... usually after 4 - 5 years hondas clear coats start comin apart... lol

Those are hott, that car doesn't look too bad either. Nice and clean, and no rice to boot.

Actually, yes, I usually am the driver when theres 3 or 4 of us and not everyone wants to drive. Flame on.

Backseat riders in my Prelude was not even an option. There is literally no room for people over 5'2".

i dont have a back seat in this car.... and in the bimmer, well most people didn't like my speeding....

Most people only ride in the blazer one time... kind of like riding with cody
