sir rupert hobo 10-03-2005, 05:55 PM so i have one about once a week. i HATE cigs but i love teh cigars... i haven't had many though. i've tried a few R&J's and some small al capone's. what are some that aren't too strong and taste great? what do you guys like? Alex-7 10-03-2005, 06:07 PM If you can find a good Davidoff you'll probably like it (nice and mild) I've had pretty good luck with Punch and Fuente. meaning a decent percentage arent falling apart and impossible to draw through by the time I get them. 99.9 percent of cigars available (even from high end shops) in this country are not worth the time or money. Supper 10-03-2005, 06:14 PM I used to smoke cigars all the freakin time. Not really sure why I ever even quit :dunno: anyway... best cigar I ever had was a Romeo y Juliette No. 1 purchased in Edmonton Canada. second best was an 1884 (IIRC) worst ever was an A Fuente churchill. It was like sucking on a twig and was just horrid. IMO Conneticut wraper cigars have the best flavour for just sitting around smoking, especially for an after dinner cigar. Where as the darker ones are better for when you are hitting the liquor. a good website to hit is http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar/Home/ It has a complete listing of every cigar made in the world including ring gauge, length, wrapper style, filler style, filler material, where the tobacco was grown etc. You can search by your favorite ring gauge or length and it will give you suggestions on which cigars to try. Or, at least it did back three years ago when I used to go that site daily. FeatherTheClutch 10-03-2005, 06:17 PM Black and milds yo! All of these cigars are at least 5 years old. burnoutking999 10-04-2005, 06:58 AM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/DCMann2/bushlol.jpg LMAO at that pic!! Awesomely bad presidents... i can see the VH1 show now... YearsOfDecay 10-04-2005, 10:17 AM My Cigar of choice for fishin, kickin in the garage, etc. is a Henry Clay.. at about 3 bucks a pop for a .45ish by 6, I also dig on the Big Butt's and every now and then will grab an Acid or Lars Teton, especially if they got the magnolia's.. (Can't remember what they called, but the Band has a devil mask dude on it!!!) rosey 10-04-2005, 11:49 PM Acids have a pretty intersting flavor from what I've found...R&J, Funtes, and Punch have been pretty good to me. Next on my list of things to try are AVO, ambroisa, and Davidoff I usually smoke one every week or so, just a habbit I picked up last summer I guess. I think when winter comes around and it gets cold I'll probably cut down a bunch until it starts warming up again. Sitting outside late at night staring at the lake and smoking a cigar I've found is pretty damn relaxing on a summer night. Worse I've had was an Apple favored black and mild, followed by a strawberry swiser sweet. Both of them made me want to vomit in my mouth to get the bad flavor out. Cosby 10-04-2005, 11:55 PM strawberry swiser sweet I don't know how you can smoke something intended for smoking pot out of... |
