Ok, this is going to be as long as a novel but here it goes.....well today was my lucky day......usually its a good week if I get a single race, but today I ran into two (almost three). First one was when I was going to get some lunch with my roommate on Asheville HWY, pulled up next to some black civic with rims and exhaust and as rare as it is that I am in good position to race someone at a stoplight I had to take full advantage of this. Well, he floored it when the light turned green and I smoked him but not nearly as bad as I would have expected, not sure what he had done to it other than the exhaust. Next was going to get some dinner at Gooney Birds and I pulled up in perfect position next to some guy in a new body style Mustang GT, I do believe it was an automatic though. Well, the guy had gone WOT from the parking lot he pulled out of up to the stoplight so I figured maybe this guy would be down for a little race. So I decided to see if he was going to drop it when the light turned green before I went all out and sure enough he did so I dropped it to (already about a car length behind by this point) and quickly pulled on him and then passed him in 2nd, then next light same situation, I was ready this time and he saw nothing but the rear end of the car. Then on the way back from Gooney Birds I ended up right behind some guy in a early 90's late 80's model 911 Carrera and tried to play around with him but he wouldn't bite, that would have really finished the day off right. Oh well, still way more action than I'm used to.
