Thought i'd try it here so i dont have to ship it...just throwing this out there. I got most of the wiring to mount it too.

K40 is the brand name. I got two great antennas, for a 2008 T660.

I see. I need some kinda set up like this.

How far away can you talk with a MODERATLY sized antenna that wouldn't look stupid on a large SUV?

Depends you want to run legal or illegal?

Mine is peaked and tuned, so I'm good for 8-10 miles on the east coast. Alot farther out west. But that was a dual antenna set up on a KW. Don't know what its like in a car.
