THE BUTT OF ALL JOKES
A British couple have been forced to move house because of the problems caused by living in Butt Hole Road.
Paul and Lisa Allott have sold their £150,000 bungalow in Conisbrough, northern England after living there for just 15 months because they were fed up with the constant leg-pulling.
They have grown tired of groups of youths posing for photos by the nearby street sign with their buttocks bared.
Taxis and pizza delivery men would also fail to turn up, thinking any order was just a prank.
The couple even had to deal with people constantly repeating their address and asking: "Is that near the ring road - or the bottom of the street?!"
"I like a laugh, but it was beyond a joke," Mr Allott told The Sun.
"We've had people steal the street sign and it got to the point where I dreaded reciting our address.
"I thought it would be nice to rename it Button Hole Road. But it's easier to move than go through all the hassle of a new name with the local council."
However, the new owner of their house is happy with his address.
"I think it'll be fun - and I know what to expect," taxi driver Peter Sutton said.
