DarkAngelKamui 05-23-2006, 07:13 AM LOL
Besides the funny pic, I got mine in Thursday of last week. Spent Friday evening outside firing it and used up almost half of my 500 arrow tip shots adjusting the laser sight and seeing what kind of stuff it'll rip through...
For a $150 buck gun, this thing kicks quite a bit of ass. I'll get pics up soon, and hopefully I can peg something to lay next to it when I do. :D
BATMAN 05-23-2006, 02:39 PM Be a white person........... shoot animals like rodents.
and hold ur gun in the correct position...... no side-mounted sights and rifle scope.
BATMAN 05-23-2006, 05:33 PM where did u order it?
I want to know if it will penitrate squirrel hide.
DarkAngelKamui 05-24-2006, 08:58 AM I ordered it from the same link you gave (turns out it was the cheapest price, since they go elsewhere for $200+)
As for if it'll penitrate squirrel hide, I was using a few cans and a plastic recycling bin as target practice to adjust the scope while using pointed tip shots like the ones you bought. A few ripped clean through the cans and made deep dents in the hard plastic, and with concentrated fire I actually managed to make a massive crack in it.
I don't know how my hollow tipped shots'll fare just yet, but I know your ammo will definately do. :D
BATMAN 05-24-2006, 10:04 AM did u by my ammo too?
I have several types of ammo.
It's good to have a combination of the lightest ammo, heaviest ammos for different use.
anything under 1080fps (speed of sound) will be accurate. When u start to break the sound barrier the pellet tends to tumble with the shockwave and looses it's accuracy.
The ammo that kills squirrels and birds really fast from my experience are these hollow points:

BATMAN 05-24-2006, 10:11 AM see if u can find a good deal for the CO2 bottles.
might want to start with www.froogle.com
it shld have some model number on there.
I know that walmart sells CO2 bottles for paintball guns, but can't tell if that will work with urs.
Also, it doesn't seem to come with a scope (which is cool since scopes that come with airguns sucks shit).
I was thinking about getting a Nikon scope due to the optics clarity and the amount of light that it pulls in........
BATMAN 05-24-2006, 04:34 PM http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/show_necessities.pl?show=Accessories&SubModelID=1528
they seem to have the best price for the CO2 tanks.
DarkAngelKamui 05-25-2006, 07:18 AM Nice find, Batty :D
I'm almost through with one tank and bought two for reserve, so I think I'll be fine for just a bit.
