I fucking love sports games, favorite genre, no motorsports don't count. Currently hooked on NBA2K8. It's only a matter of time before I start FIFA, Madden, Fight Nights and MLB. I've been debating getting back into sports games. I used to play the maddens on xbox but once I upgraded to the 360, I couldn't stand any of them. My biggest complaint is that during 2 player games, your buddy could watch you pick your play. WTF?

Isn't that on most football games? Imagine doens't seem to like hwat I loaded so one ss:

In the orginal Xbox maddens you pick you play by chosing X, A, or B (1 in 3 chance they see your play). It was also nice because you could hold down the button after selecting the play and then move through as many plays as you wanted. Once you released the button it selected your play, creating a nice fake out. In the 360 version you have to move the white rectangle over the play making it impossible to not see what play you have chosen.

I'm debating picking up Cod4, skate, or Mario galaxy after I beat zelda tonight. Leaning toward COD4.

Is Zelda good? I was thinking about renting it. I'm playing metroid prime corruption for wii right now. It's totally screwed up my shoulder again..

Yes, zelda is very good. The only 2 things I'd knock it for are 1. fighting bosses and other enemies is way too easy, 2. Still no voices and you have to read through the cut scenes.

On point 1, I miss having to load up on potions and ferries before you go fight a boss. Unless you are really bad with the controls, no boss will pose a threat and you will beat them on the first try.

Still the best zelda game after ocarina of time. Maybe they will release a master's quest, that would rock!

How is metroid? I loved the first one on GC but only play the 2 one for about an hour and got bored. Maybe I'll give it a rent.

It's fun. This one has a lot more enemies and you get upgrades a lot faster. You can tell Samus is a chick in this one.

I still haven't completed the Ferris Wheel sniper level. I've tried the safety shack, hiding behind the bumper cars, etc. but no matter where I am as soon as I have to rush out of cover to pick up McTavish or whatever wounded boy's name is, and get him into the chopper, I get 'naded to snail snot.

N/m. Found a sweet spot between two buildings after laying down some C4, and finished the game.

Yeah, it's really important to get the C4 and the claymores out before the heli comes. I hide back between the two buildings, and near the end the doors open and reveal some intel. It's a good camping spot but you gotta be mobile there (people come from behind later).

It's pretty hard, unless you're playing in recruit, then you can just run out in the open and dance like a retard and no one can kill you.

In COD4, on the ghillie suit sniper mission, I chill in the little wooden thing all the way to the right. Plant C4 and Claymores by cars as the explosions become more powerful when cars blow up. I love the Death From Above mission myself. I have (or had since I haven't had an Xbox 360 to check in a few weeks) the 1019th highest score on that mission on all of Xbox Live. 1019th may not sound that high, but when you factor in that over 10 Million people have Xbox Live Worldwide, it sounds pretty good to me.

Use the claymores around the biuldings, and those concrete deviders. The C4 is enough on its own for the cars.

I'm playing one level up from recruit - it didn't even offer me Recruit as an option for SP mode on PC... the demo did, the game does not.

I found the bridge collapse to be a frustrating exercise in trial and error, but storming the missile silo was a lot of fun.

A bit cheesed that multiplayer mode seems lame though. No matter what map/server I select, if I pick one running 'team deathmatch' it uses a 'deathmatch' map that has nothing to do with the map selected. I prefer the BF2 multiplayer interface, which shows you the map as its loading (not just a line of text saying it's connecting) and the objectives are clear; capture flags and hold 'em.

Console IMO.

Yupp. Don't really know what your point is though. If it's part of your job then that is one thing, I just couldn't imagine coming home and seeing my mother on the couch with her hand in a bag of potato chips playing Playboy Manson. The amount of money she makes really has no bearing on it.
