Should I cut my rear bumper and vent with mesh like this:

Or should I leave it alone and just paint it like this:

I should be getting the kit painted within the next couple weeks..I currently have to worry about dropping in my H22a1(VTEC) since I blew up the H23 on Thanksgiving..
Just looking for opinions...

I'd vote for not cutting the bumper.. Maybe paint the insert a different color. Say if you're painting the kit to match the car, then paint the insert in the bumper (where the mesh would have been going) a dark charcoal color or something different.
I think it would look better than wire mesh.

It should be kinda fast with the H22..Ive seen like only 2 swaps done from going from, H23 auto to H22 auto..they didnt make auto VTECs in 93-96 (4th gen preludes)...but they did in 97+...I talked to a guy who said his 93 Si-->VTEC, ran a 9.7 with an exhaust....so, I guess that is pretty decent..I have intake and exhaust..so it should be fine..
