Previously I had thought the CZ 83 was not that great a shot, or the ammo was very poor.

I got two across my work bench that shot groups 7 inches apart at 14 yards.

However, after replacing the slide springs, re crowing the barrels, and taking some sandpaper to the hammer of one, they are like completely different guns.

Though, they both shoot way to the left now for some reason :P

They're interesting guns, almost fully ambidextrous (ambi mag release, ambi safty, not ambi slide lock :P)

Polygonal rifling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polygonal_rifling), fixed barrel, kinda small, very tough.

I like it because it's cheap and on the Curio list.

You can shave regular 9mm (9x19) cases down to the 9mmM (9x18) so reloading is easy. Except for the bullet, but hey, whatever.

Might grab one :D Anyone else tried one?
