Well, I went to Darlington again last Wed night for Test & Tune.

I had 6 races all night. I won every single one, regardless of oponent.

The first run worried me a little. I was parked in the staging lane, checking my tire pressure and a new (2000-01?) Pontiac Firehawk pulls up beside me. I'm figuring that this guy is gonna wax my ass, but I decide to go thru it and take it like a man. So we adjourn to the burnout box and I do my standard 2nd gear burnout to get both rears heated up (no LSD). I pull up and pre-stage just as he finishes liquifying his tires and drives to the line as well. We both stage up, I look over and that is the last time I saw him. The lights drop and I leap with a .548 light and a 2.058 60'. Hitting second gear I spin the rears, then boost kicks again and I _really_ spin the rears..get off the gas to gain traction again and then full throttle. Pull second out to 7500 and then chirp 3rd (stock clutch ;) Still no sign of the Firehawk. At about the 1000' mark I look over and expect to see him running me down. Nope. I cross the line and look back over my right shoulder to see him over 2 lengths back!!

I pick up the slip and am surprised to see that I have beat my best MPH on my first run of the night. The run was a 14.029@102.27mph. I figure that the Firehawk must have broke or something, but when I get back to the lanes, he is lined up with a Cobra to run again like it's all cool. He got waxed by the Cobra too. Everybody in the stands was going nuts when I pulled that guy outta the hole and put lengths on him.

Best ET for the night...13.87
Best MPH for the night.. 104.26

I need tires

I raced a bunch of imports too... a supersonic blue GSR with gunmetal 95 GSR rims. A blue Talon...must have been an ESi
and a few other cars. NO losses.

wow, niiiice....I like fast cars. Ive got the engine mounts made and bolted up in my project so all thats left is some fabrication and some rerouting of a few coolant lines and I will hopefully be waxing some firehawks too....not likely though

SaRa is a 89 240sx hatchback with a redtop SR20det.

As far as 1/8 mile times go, you'll see that SaRa is a top heavy gal. Because of limited grip off the line, my 1/8s are in the 9.0-9.1 range at 80-82 mph. However, she charges hard thru the last half and my traps are high 13s at 102-104mph.

Here are a few pics of my "girl"

Nice kills. I like when imports are fast. Thats a great sleeper. I love the "stock" look.

Yup, no traction but the power is definitely there. Your eighth mile trap speeds would render u a mid eighth second run if you had traction.

that color is my signature. Cosmic Black. Any of my special projects or anything different than ordinary..built motor.. custom fabricated turbo kit...odd swap...anything that shows our skill in fabrication, receives that color.

There are a few out there...check out Ben Howard's car (GS-T)
The 320hp 10 psi Civic Si is another....PRicer's 11 second MR2 turbo is another...the 94 Accord LX auto that is now a JDM h22a 5 speed...etc...etc..

and check out this newest entry....TaDA!!! the 2.5L Eclipse motor #1 is done.
