I pulled the engine bay apart yesterday and so far Ive found that the purge control valve vaccum line has popped off explaining the large amount of oil purging and high idle problem.... the boiling was a line that is cracked underneath the throttle body and above the block (real pain to fix) and the TID was really boofed up. I think the TID is ok now and I made a new fan setup by mounting the efan on the end of the stock shroud....it looks good. I think another problem is that the stock pusher fan is actually pulling so I have to cut that and switch it and add a relay in there that that circuit switches and turns on another circuit for the main puller fan (I temporarily had both fans on the same line and I think there was probably a significant drop in current) StockForNow 07-22-2002, 06:43 PM MX6 was down here and there due to Tranny probs wasn't it? 07-23-2002, 11:52 PM ripped third out once |
