fcdrifter13 04-09-2006, 01:31 AM Just beat it and I have to say that I am very disapointed. I was kinda excited when I got it. And then it just got lame. If you havnt bought it already just rent it. And one last thing Sepiroth is one tough mother fucker. DarkAngelKamui 04-12-2006, 10:58 AM Are you serious? I got KH II first day it came out, and I've been playing it ever since (almost done @ 30-something hours and at lvl. 48) I really couldn't find any fault with the game, save for the revisiting of a lot of worlds and fighting the same bosses under different circumstances. I could gripe about the leveling system for forms and summons, but it really isn't that big of a deal if you pay attention to the places where the game sort of glitches (aka leveling up at Timeless River with Valor and Wisdom by fighting the heartless in the doorways, then going back to the castle before the form gauge runs out to re-fill it. Rinse-wash-repeat). I think the game is great as-is, but they could have done a bit more to make character growth easier. fcdrifter13 04-12-2006, 05:04 PM I found that the best place to level up was in mickeys castle before you talk to mini on that lond walk way, endless amounts of heatless. Hate to say it but your about to the end of the game. I done most of the side quests and it took me 35 hours to beat. I am on hour 56 r so on the first one and anit havnt done half of the stuff. THe part that got me the most was the end(trying not to spoil) but its kinda gay. Like broke back mountain gay. MiniMikeFoRealRealz 04-14-2006, 03:47 PM welps, i'm back. really? i've heard good reviews. i was planning on getting another ps2 (sold the last for some extra dough) just for that and guitar hero. DarkAngelKamui 04-17-2006, 07:17 AM You still should... And yes, Sephiroth was a complete pain in the ass to beat... How can a non-boss have so many life bars and attacks that can kill you in one hit? (Finally managed to do it after 10 tries @ lvl. 71... Second Chance, Beserk combo, Trinity, Glide, Double jump, and MP Haste/Rage are essential abilities to have if you plan on standing a chance against him....) fcdrifter13 04-17-2006, 01:02 PM After about 20 tries I beat him at level 55. Ten health bars WTF, non of the other bosses have that much. DarkAngelKamui 04-17-2006, 02:01 PM Did you go through the pains of leveling up all the drive forms (Valor, Wisdom, Master, Final) and the summons to level 7? If so, you'd be in for a treat... There's an extra version of the Underworld tournament that unlocks at that point. Around the 49th match you end up fighting Tifa, Yuffie, Leon, AND Cloud all at once. Makes Sephiroth look like a fuckin' cakewalk. To add an extra twist, the battles beforehand are "survivor" style. Best to stock up on the HP and MP goodies for that one... lol fcdrifter13 04-17-2006, 02:06 PM I am gonna have to try that. How do you get final. I have master and thought it was it. DarkAngelKamui 04-17-2006, 02:13 PM Well, I ended up getting it by leveling up in "The World That Never Was"... Supposedly you can go into it right after the cutscene when Sora is fighting Roxas. You pretty much get it the same way you end up turning into Anti-Form (Heartless Sora with no weapons but all claw and dark magic attacks), just try transforming into any form while you're in that world and eventually you'll turn into it (all white and wields two keyblades, but controls them with psychokinesis and kicks quite a bit of ass. You also end up learning the "glide" ability from it if you level up the form enough). After you turn into it by accident, you can choose it anytime you want. :D Once you get it, you'll have to re-level up all the other forms as well. Just as a quick guide: Valor Form = Leveled up by the amount of attacks you land on enemies Wisdom Form = Leveled up by the amount of heartless you kill Master Form = Leveled up by the amount of drive orbs you get Final Form = Leveled up by the amount of Nobodies you kill Edit: Picage of the form http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/DarkAngelKamui/Stuff%20to%20be%20sorted%202/kh2_mqa_wall_07_800x6001.jpg fcdrifter13 04-17-2006, 02:31 PM BAck to leveling up then. I hate using the heartless form thing. DarkAngelKamui 04-17-2006, 02:36 PM lol, good luck on that one.... I do hope you've learned the small little glitches in the game that help with leveling up. If not, just use a form till it's almost completely run out, then run to a save point while still in it and go to the world map and back. When you return, your drive gauge will always be maxed out. Saves you the trouble of constantly fighting to refill it :D Extra edit: If you didn't know about this form, then I guess you didn't know about the secret ending you get by completing Jiminy's Journal and finishing all the worlds. If you played on Proud mode, you'd only have to finish the worlds and you could skip all the quest shit. fcdrifter13 04-17-2006, 02:40 PM all my forms are at max but wisdom, and if you are right about how it goes up its gonna take a while. DarkAngelKamui 04-17-2006, 02:50 PM Easiest place for me to level up Valor and Wisdom was Timeless River, surprisingly... All you have to do is enter one of those floating doors and start kicking ass, then run back to the door to the castle when you're almost out to refill your gauge to max (found out about that one by chance when I was trying to get back to the save point in time) For Master, I just went to the Land of Dragons... Go up into the village, and then the snow covered mountains where all the fireworks are and kill all the enemies first, then go back to the village and back up to the mountain again to kill off any enemies that might show up once more. Go back once more and THEN start blowing up the fireworks for all the orbs. Just run back to the village and back up into the mountains each time you run out (might be good to equip some form enhancing skills to stay in it longer if you have them) And my mistake for earlier, I think the leveling up format is this: Valor Form = Leveled up by the amount of attacks you land on enemies Wisdom Form = Leveled up by the amount of Heartless you kill Master Form = Leveled up by the amount of drive orbs you get Final Form = Leveled up by the amount of Nobodies you kill MiniMikeFoRealRealz 04-17-2006, 03:31 PM never mind about the PS2 and Kingdom Hearts 2: Gamestop is getting more XB360s next week. i'm frantically trying to pool my resources so i can at least get a Core System. Unfortunately, that means selling the XB1 (what about 2-359?), my Game Boy Micro, the DS, and all the games for the above systems, save for Halo 2 and possibly Morrowind. the systems alone are 135 bucks for trade-in, and the games i imagine will be at least 50 bucks. i have 70 as of right now, and will make a little more during the week. so, i can only hope. the thing is though, if i already have an XBL account, will i have to make a new one for the 360 with whatever XBL package comes in, or can i transfer my old one? and, if i can transfer my old one, can i change my gamertag at any time? anyone with a 360, your help answering this questions would be great. one more thing: Oblivion is a definite buy. but which is better: G.R.A.W. or PDZ? DarkAngelKamui 04-18-2006, 09:11 AM Xbox 360 sucks That's all I have to say about that... lol If I were you, I'd wait till the price dropped (and I guaran-damn-tee you it will this year) before I got one of those POS systems. ComradeGiant 04-18-2006, 09:42 AM A friend of mine got one on release day. Said it was the worst waste of money he ever made. I'd wait for A) The price drop and B) more worthwhile games to come out. DarkAngelKamui 04-18-2006, 09:51 AM +1 Now that we've got that settled, any other Qs about Kingdom Hearts II? lol MiniMikeFoRealRealz 04-18-2006, 08:17 PM yes. how does it taste? how long does it take to get KH2 to climax? what kind of pads does it prefer? what are its pet peeves? ComradeGiant 04-19-2006, 12:27 AM I don't know about any of those other things, but KH2 is definitely a tampon user. DarkAngelKamui 04-19-2006, 07:20 AM yes. how does it taste? Like sweet, sweet candy.... :D how long does it take to get KH2 to climax? About 30-40 hours, if you don't suck at gaming or go after all the extras... what kind of pads does it prefer? Depends on what mode you start playing on... Play "Proud" mode and you'd probably be better off breaking out the kneepads, cuz you'll be begging for mercy after awhile. :evillaugh what are its pet peeves? N00b gamers with no reflex skills MiniMikeFoRealRealz 04-19-2006, 07:57 PM i meant menstrual pads. and sexual climax. n00b. Richter12x2 10-04-2007, 10:14 AM I know this is major back from the dead, but I picked it up since it was $20 now. It occurred to me since they started off with the wizard from the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Yen Sid (which is Disney backwards) that when the guy Xemnas comes out later as the head of Organization XIII or whatever, than his name may mean something too. After a second I figured out if you rearrange the letters you get "Mansex" so maybe they're subconciously trying to show kids that 'Mansex' is evil? :D |
