I used to collect Pokemon cards when I was like 12. If I had unloaded them carefully when they were still really popular, my collection would have probably been worth somewhere north of $1000.

I sold 90 of the rarest cards about a year later for $50 and the rest are just collecting dust in my closet. :(

I don't really collect anything anymore. I spend all my money on my racing habit. :)

I collect almost anything having to do with videogames.

I specialize in stuff that was never available at retail though, like the following:
-"Not for Resale" store demo game copies
-Unreleased software (i.e. stuff that never came out, proto copies)
-Development hardware and software
-Store demo kiosks
-Prototype hardware
-Promotional goodies

I also collect more "normal" stuff, like anything related to Metal Gear (or ZOE, Policenauts, and anything else Kojima), lots of Nintendo stuff, etc...


I used to own the intellectual property rights to a couple of Acclaim titles that I acquired when they were dissolved at auction, but I sold them to acquire my Xbox 360 Devkit and my PSTOOL.
