i chirp 2nd easy..but never third..i hardly dogg the car out..auto, also..

if it's wet outside, and then it's just a slip - not a chirp really. 125 hp in a 3400 lb truck + automatic doesn't equal tire chirping results

my car use to chirp 2nd...but it just spins now without making the chrip sound. i dunno if i was the tires i had or what.

Yea mine kinda chirps 2nd and 3rd somedays for some reason. And when I go full throttle sometimes when accelerating already, it does a 2 seconds down shift, goes to over 5k rpms and will haul ass from there. It does this especially on curves for some reason. Kinda crazy, but I think i'm gonna stop beatin up my car so much, especially after all the money i'm pourin into it right now

Yeah, I can usually get a chirp in 3rd but 2nd is a whole different story, I can spin'en off in 2nd. Can't remember if they made any sound when I took Chris for a ride the first time we met.

If I am power shifting I can chirp 4th.

i think that turbo integra will :spank: you thats why you were scared to bring it out. j/k.

nah there are a lot better cars to race. our scene is pretty bad lately though. I could talk some people into bringing their cars out but usually its just a lot of talking. Ive been known to lose $20 or $40 just to give people something to watch. actually Ive lost my last 3 races Ive bet on: me -vs- a 95 gt, me -vs- a talon with nitrous and Rob -vs- my old neighbors 88LX. I was going to bet $100 on a 98 Cobra -vs- a 99 Ram Air and a 95 Vette -vs- a 90 GT but the cars they were going to race backed out. Yeah and I lost another 20$ Rob -vs- 01 Vette but thats a long story. I won a little money at Nopi thanks to the cool people we met up with :) . cant wait to go back.

this is pretty funny. i ran my friend who had a N/A talon at the time with nitrous, an intake, a header, exhaust, a short shifter and some other stuff i cant remember. we put up $20 and lined up to race. we do a rolling start at 3k so he can hit the nitrous from the line since hes fwd. im in the stock 96 gt and there are a ton of people watching. we both go and i pull him really hard til the finish and Im like yeah, $20 and I won. We get to the end and he says man, I forgot to cut my bottle on lets go again. I dont believe him so I agree to go again. He cuts his bottle on and we line up again. Another 3k roll and this time he hits it when we take off. He pulled me like 3 car lengths by the time we got to the end of our strip. I give him the $20 and he goes back to brag.

Nitrous sucks...once someone in an Import beats a V8, they get cocky. The only reason he won b/c he was spraying. If he wasn't, obviously, you would have won both times.

well considering the v8 has twice as much displacement usually there needs to be something even it up

i dont get why everytime someone gets beat by someone they think they shouldnt its always "oh they were spraying" so what? nitrous is a hp adding mod just like raising compression, headwork, turbo, blower, etc. it's all the same..they all add power. then when people race they are like oh i will if you turn the bottle off..hows that fair? you could just as well put nitrous or a turbo on your car..its not my fault that you dont. sorry for the rant that just gets under my skin.

people always have excuses. if your car is slow just admit it..people will shut up..mine is slow i admit it all the time. once i start working again im buying a header, struts (got a semi rice bounce bc of lowering springs on stock struts), and nitrous. if i end up actually beating someone they can make all the excuses they want.
oh and yet another pet peeve is "does it have noz?" umm..you mean nitrous, the spray, n2o, laughing gas?grrrrrr 3 people have asked me that in the last week.

yeah theres no excuse not to have it. he paid 400$ for the kit and 40$ to have his bottle filled and only won 20$. when i bring out the twin turbo car im gonna say shut your pie hole and put your money up :) . til then im gonna get beat by lots of people in the 96.

Im going to be slow forever :( I have to put too much money into the body and suspension to afford a new turbo and manifold. I wish someone would give ME some nitrous
