3 - '06 hold over WR250F's fresh out of the crate and into the back of the mega cab :bigthumb: :bigthumb:

I can't even begin to tell you how impressed I am with that little 250 motor, especially coming from my 650.

:blah::blah::blah:

They aren't that expensive. The 250's were 06 holdovers and we got one hell of a buy on em.

typical 250 four stroke lists for $6,300. If you are in good with a dealer you can get it for quite a bit less then that, or with a bunch of other gear thrown in.

You can also buy 1 - 3 year old 250's for less then $4k.

the town I live in when not going to school is population 10,000. Our shop is just on the outskirts. Not everyone likes the cities ;)

The city is one thing. I'm just talking about the landscape. I know you've posted pictures of mountains which looked sweet, but the background in those pictures looks like rural Indiana. I just couldn't live somewhere with no civilization. I'd go nuts.

I was talking about 250 2 strokes, but I guess those aren't made much anymore? The last prices I saw were in the $8k range.

I think I prefer the city over the country mainly because I like the convenience. Also, people in cities tend to be less nosy, less judgemental, and mind their own damn business moreso than bumpkins with nothing to do.... but there's something about being in the wilderness by yourself that's refreshing... still wouldn't wanna live in that shit.

And screw the smell of cow shit... my god, my daily drive chokes me sometimes.

western towns are not the same as eastern towns.

And the smell of cowshit is nowhere to be found around here. Have to go to colorado since its just full of shit anyway.
