I have some machining experience, so there's not much of anything in the way of modification or fabrication that I can't do if needed.

rxtasy 02-16-2002, 01:04 AM My car is a 1975 Mazda 808, which is the same body as the RX-3. I took the 4cyl out the day after I bought it and put a rotary in it. The engine and trans in it right now is out of an '83 RX-7. Had to modify the trans to fit the car so not to have to cut the floor for the shifter,(move it up approx. 4in.). I have some machining experience, so there's not much of anything in the way of modification or fabrication that I can't do if needed. 02-16-2002, 08:15 AM Thats really cool...I like it <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> oneblowntwo 02-16-2002, 10:55 AM That's really cool how you fabricated it to fit. What does an 75' 808 look like? And do you have a rx7 that you go the parts from, or junkyard? Later, josh. 88crx *sold for 600$* 92mr2t *rebuilding* 79 ol yeller truck *hybrid:)* rxtasy 02-16-2002, 11:24 AM The 808 and RX3 r the same, just that the RX3 has the rotary engine and the 808 has a 4cyl engine. I had a website with a pic of what it looks like but I've recently found out that the site that hosted my site had undoughtedly changed owners and my page and account no longer exists, so now I'm stuck needing to fine another webpage hosting site and create another site. Maybe we'll meett at an autox one day. If u still want to know what one looks like, do a search on RX3 and/or 808, and I'm sure u'll get a site with a pic. |
