Stegall 02-25-2002, 03:29 PM Coming down 26 today i saw a black rx7 in my rear view. *Thinking it was a friend of mine, i slowed down, only for him to down shift and buzz by me like a dang chain saw. *Realiseing it wasn't travis, i downshifted and got beside him. * A quick rev, and he was as ready as I was. *he down shifted and took off, with me a nano second later. *I pulled on him in 3rd, then hit fourth i herd what sounded to be about 60,000 rpms as he pulled about a half car legenth on me. *as he shifted, ( i assume it was into 4th) my car was jsut getting into pulling range and i pulled about a car legenth ahead. *By this time we were up to clsoe to 110 and by mutual telapathic aggrement, we deciced to back off. * *It woudl had be a good rest of the race , but I think I would had him no problem.
