well, almost. this jackass shop is going to be the death of me
theyve got $1556.87 to paint, replace bumper, fedner, align frame, fix battery tray and radiator. not too bad. but the guy didnt notice the clearly bent control arm or the nice little crack in the k-member. i sent his scrawny (or fat, dunno havent seen the guy) ass back out to get under the car, notice the bent control arm and k member and get back to me with a number that includes everything but the cost of the k-member, which i will either get a tubular one or the one off on jamie's parts car.

oh and to top it off the fuckers are going to be on vacation next week. so theres no way in hell it will be ready in time for me to drive while im between sessions. even if i take delivery of it in primer (which i was planning on orginally)

update:
well looks like $275 gets me D&D k-member
and im told to expect 4-5 hours on kmember install, getting it aligned properly ties in with the cost of straightening the frame as they loosed the k member bolts when they bend it back, and then adjust it to make the suspention square.

so that puts it to a grand total of
drumroll

$1991.87

My friend and his dad own a nice body shop I suggest it if your damages are covered by insurance. It's called E&M Body shop in Pauline the guys name is Ethan. Might as well get the AJE tubular k-member and coil-overs if its covered.

read closer. *insurance wont touch it. *ive already chosen my shop, but if theyre close to the clemson area ill keep em in mind should i need an insurance covered repair
edit: the D&D is a tubular stock replacment, i dont have the $ to upgrade to coilovers. if i did i wouldve gotten the maximum motorsports one that is a completely clean sheet design that fixes alot of the macphearson strut suspention flaws that ford designed into the car in the intrest of costs instead of performance
