I don't condone street racing, but you should be entitled to due process without a doubt.

But it makes the voters feel all warm and safe, so shit won't be changed.

these new laws are working, but sill street racing is out there everyday.

It's for retards who live in Toronto and have no grasp of reality.

their retards all right, they street race every weekend, and tons are killed.

these age groups think they are undestruckable and know everything there is to no about racing on sidestreets or anywhere else.

they all have their loser hondas and acuras, all pimped and ready to go.

they think they own the streets, NOT!

one asshole here driving on my street which is a 40km zone, came racing down at 140km, crashed into a tree.......dead dead, serves him right.

I'm not going to bother reading, or signing, that petition...

If they weren't fucking idiots they would push to have one weekend night a month set aside for street racing in a controlled environment, within the city. Aka, Semi-sponsored, police/local law enforcement blocking off pre-planned sections of road, advertise it and sanction it. This would do several positive things: A) the asshats would get to street race w/o fear of being pulled over. B) the city would make revenue through vendors and admission fee's. C) Less friction between police and citizens. D) THE ASSHATS WOULDN'T RACE WHEN THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TOO!!

How is this so difficult?

the petition was passed a long time ago by government, ..........alot of drivers now have suffered the consequences of their vehicle being impounded for 3 months etc.

There is no where in Toronto that has tolerance for putting a dragway here, its much to noisy for people living around it.

We do have dragways, Cayuga and others, but its a long way to drive to get to them.


........besides this is different, these are your EVERYDAY assholes on highways and streets speeding.

How many fines have been assessed due to this law? Zero. That's how many. This law is bullshit, meant to make people feel safe and vote red.
