i watched a little bit of the fast and the furious last night, and saw a good bit of flaws.
when the eclipse tops out, count how many gears he goes through. 6.
and when they are at torreto's the guy that drives the skyline says "nah d, he aint here for the food", look at his mouth, not moving.
after the big race is over, dom walks to the back of the car, and he's saying "he almost had me?" then the screen switches, and hes not at the back of the car. not to mention the terrible acting of the guy he talks at the back of the car, and really everyone else, lol.  
i heard theres gonna be a sequel to the movie called the x or something? anyone know anything about it? later. josh.

The movie is being filmed as we speak in Florida. A few of my friends from tampa have called me and told me bout it. Said theres a big number of cars going to the shoot everyday!

ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this post was going to be about all the technical aspects that were wrong with the movie.  Im not even going into those...it would take too long.

1.) &nbsp;Dude goes through 6 gears int he eclipse when he tops out.
2.) &nbsp;Dude gets Nitrous when his Eclipse tops out. &nbsp;Nitrous won't make your top speed go up.
3.) &nbsp;Dude says he has a &quot;Spoon&quot; motor in his hatch, but he is buying turbos???
4.) &nbsp;Funny how guy has a bright yellow GTR and no one seems to care, he is actually watching out for cops??
5.) &nbsp;The Eclipse supposedly fries the motor with the Nitrous, yet when the cops come, it runs fine again.
6.) &nbsp;The floor piece falls out of the Eclipse, yet when Dom gets in the car, its there again.
7.) &nbsp;There is no turbo in the Eclipse at all.
8.) &nbsp;Guy makes fun of the dude in the Ferrari by asking how much he spent on it, yet the admit to having over 100K in the Supra.
9.) &nbsp;A Charger with enough HP to get that monsters front wheels off the ground, will never be challenged by a Supra in the 1/4.

Ten things wrong...
1. Skyline gets no love...R33 vspec is s*** in the movie!
2. I know the guy who tunned Craig Liebermans Supra and that thing is an EASY 10sec car. NO WAY would that F335 spyder stay close. Tru...im a huge Ferrari fan but damn be realistic. That SUPRA might only have 500-600hp in the movie...but the car dynotunned over 800 b4 the movie...HMMMM
3. What the f*** is up with the Kits? Tru kits are ok but this is the Fast and Furious not the Fast and the Show-worthy!
4. In the background at racewars theres a blue and white tiger striped CRX Sir from japan with HUGE front mount and 13point cage and lots of carbon. Why not show that bad boy in something besides the Making of the Fast and the Furious!
5. How the f*** you gonna have a TAB at the local race shop like that? I mean damn how many cars were on his &quot;Tab&quot;<img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>
6. Im sorry...if i saw a burnt Supra pull up at my shop my eyes would GLOW! I mean damn...2jz-GTE. 10min car my ass!
7. Jessie is a f***ing twit. I mean cool dude but damn i wouldnt race for sllips with a Supercharged S2000 with bout 100shop. I mean damn those cars a top end anyways. And they went on forever. What the f*** is a 2.0l non vr6 jetta gonna do. Horrible!
8. The dudes round the Eclipse after the mile long street race are goofy ricers. What the f***...they are sucking on nuts. Not sayin i wouldnt like to be them cause they were in the movie but damn. I wouldve acted a little more like im the s*** rather than omg youre the best. f***er said you had to double clutch. Jeez wonder where he learned that!
9. Floorboard came out? I went 160 and mine didnt. That was just stupid but looked pretty damn funny and exciting!
10. Damn dude they got all those cars and no cops...s***. RIIIIIIIGHT@@@!!!!!! Now we all know...cops wouldnt have let us get there!

All in all i love the movie but theres alot they couldve done like take someone who knows the scene and knows the real 411 and not let a bunch of people who think their kit make them look fast. Tru some kits look admn good and i drop my jaw when i see them. And if the car is fast its better! But mann they made it a car show when its not. You goto a street race and the sleeper cars are the ones not to race. Cali knows it, Fla knows it, NYc knows it, we know it, and all of you too!

My rant for today! If i offended anyone with a kit dont be! I still watch the movie once a day and love the white del sol, sc300 racing, and the 4 door teg!

yea I forgot about the double clutching thing. &nbsp;WTF would you double clutch in a drag race?? oh yea, I remember now, cause the stupid writers are trying to throw to much racing s*** in the movie and don't even realize what they are talking about.

And another thing, when those guys are in that teams gaurage, they are talking about they need some SR20DET motors, yet he is shoving the guys face in a damn Civic engine bay. &nbsp;

Also, why the f*** would you race with 2Gs of your money in a Civic with full interior and a damn playstation in it. &nbsp;SOrry but if I was about to race for that much loot the last thing I'd be doing is playing Gran Turismo.

Also hated how they sped up the film to make it look like the cars take off faster than they do.

And when the Charger hits that rig, I don't think it would pop up and sumersault over the Supra. &nbsp;Personally I think it would just crumble like a sardine can and become a 900HP fender on the rig. &nbsp;

Notice that when the charger flips, IT DOESN'T HAVE A SCRATCH ON IT, yet the rig flies apart. &nbsp;

Ya know, I can understand Hollywood can exagerate stuff, but some of the things were just downright stupid.

Ever notice how people quote from the furious like crazy now? &nbsp;I do sometimes. &nbsp;I got this quote off some dsm forum.

Skunk2 makes the Headers as well! SKUNK2 headers for wrx...easily can adapt their way into wills engine bay!

that mile long race w/ 4 cars......it was actually only supposed to be 1/4...it says that in the extra's on the DVD somewhere...that was a long ass 1/4 mile....took like a hour to do!!! the wrecked supra could do it faster!!! &nbsp;

also, if they are REAL racers, then y does dom have 50+lbs of speakers, and a full leather interior?!? &nbsp;or everybody for that matter. &nbsp;

The timing sux in this movie, if you notice the times by the cops, they finished that supra in 1 1/2 days

and brian cannot drive worth a s***. &nbsp;he can sling the car around like it was a rally, but cant launch the car on time worth a s***. &nbsp;he spun out twice in that movie. &nbsp;If he fried the piston rings, then how can he drive it like that still

oh and it was 140 mph not 120

i was wondering where the 6th gear come from, so i watched that part again. he switches to second twice, wtf? lol. &nbsp;anyone wonder how they painted and dropped some &quot;over night parts from japan&quot; in that non turbo supra in one or two days? lol.

BTW, the scene where the Charger hits the Semi and does a &quot;tornado&quot; over the supra is real.

I didn't say it wasn't real, i said it was horribly done.

Towards the end when the Charger and Supra are about to go at it, the Charger wheelhops all to hell. Which means he has MAJOR traction. Yet there's smoke everywhere (digitally added I'm sure). If he's spinning enough to smoke the tires, how the hell would the front end jump up 5 feet?

Also...yes you can call an exhaust manifold for a turbo a header - but I prefer not too.

And yes - they did have an SR20DET...there's also a hatchback w/ a 3SGTE. &nbsp;I know of these things.

But how are you going to put a SR20 (non-turbo - why do that?) into a Civic and Integra in 3 days?

Heres a good one. &nbsp;In the fist scene where they show yimu toping out the eclipse, not only does his linkage shifter sound like its clicking ina metal gate like a ferrari shifter, but when it shows his spedometer at 120 when he hits the next gear, it goes from 120 to 140 in like a second.. &nbsp; What is it ? a f-15 ??

Also notice that when he is driving the eclipse int he begining and he drops the clutch... it spends for like 2 seconds? &nbsp;I didn't know a 10 sec fwd 1/4 car could hook up soo well on street tires... and when he shifts to second or third he didnt chirp/spin at all???

also notice who just eats 1 sandwich? &nbsp;That wont fill you up. &nbsp;Also notice he doesnt drink anything either. &nbsp;Also note that he doesnt eat any chips or fries or anything!

I'll add one more thing, when they are all lining up, it shows the eclipse ahead, and the rx7 last. switches screens. Then when they pull up to the line, the rx7 is first, and the eclipse is last. Thats where he passes the line or test his anti-lock brakes, lol.
