What is Faith? Is there a difference between faith and blind faith? Are Christians blind faith fools with no evidence to support the claims of their belief system?

Give me your thoughts and I will teach you something that may help you get a better understanding.

Here's what I want to say about faith. It's never blind. If someone says they believe something just because the believe, that's foolish. Some characteristic attributes of faith are: it's always about God's revelation, deals with the unseen, requires endurance and requires a conviction of the things unseen.

Let's consider Abraham on top of Mount Moriah. Knife in hand. His instruction 3 days prior: to march up there and sacrifice his son. If you have kids, put yourself in his sandals. The tension is unbearable. How in the world are you going to do this? Not only do you have to do it, you have to do it right the first time else the sacrifice is blemished and disqualified.

How did he walk up there? Did he have blind faith? Heck no. God had promised him Isaac. And Isaac was to be the hier. Whatever was supposed to happen up on Mount Moriah, God would be able to bring Isaac back to life. Abraham had to prove himself with what he knew. Abraham was sure God would be able to accomplish anything. Abraham was tested and found to be faithful. Faith is never blind.
