PeotchRedZ 05-22-2002, 04:28 PM are there any fast subaru's besides the wrx....maybe one that i could build for cheap? let me know preludedude 05-22-2002, 11:14 PM I have a 1988 Subaru GL-10 TURBO AWD...Not that bad of a little 4dr car..It had a cracked head..So I bought a brand spanking shiny new one..and I will be sending off $ for head gasket set tomorrow..gonna have it running then sell it to make some $...it is an auto, only 104,000 miles, power windows and locks, power sunroof..etc...i know you dont want to fix this up..but i seen it under Subaru Forums.soo... -Mark- Impreza75 05-24-2002, 10:23 PM Old POS Impreza L. 2.2liter turbo block from an early 90s Legacy turbo. 2.5RS head, or an STi if you can afford it. And any turbo kit. Gonna need an aftermarket tranny, that will be the most expensive part. Cobb Tuning even makes internals for this block. And a stroker kit to get it to 2.5liters. Bad ass little motor. Need some fuel management, an S-AFC should do the trick. 450cc injectors, and new fuel rails also. Fun stuff.
