When you were little there was always the candy that you would eat right away and the candy that would never get eaten.

What candy did you/do you consider good to get when trick or treating?and what was bad candy?

For me I always considered the good to be full size candy bars or pretty much anything chocolate with peanut butter.

The bad would be teeth filling pullers like those Mary Janes and those peanut butter taffy candies in the orange and yellow wrappers. They were always the last to go.

anyone ever get those razor blades in their candy like they always made us check for?

best = mini snickers (not the fun sized ones, the teeny ones)

Least favorite: Who gives a child Almond Joy? My kids each got one last night. Seriously, show me a 5 or 6 year old that says, "Hey, almonds and coconut under chocolate??? What a great fuckin' idea!!!" Another house was giving out Hershey extra special dark. If that isn't a candy that screams "Give me to your Mommy and Daddy", then what is? My son took a bite of it and was definitely "Do Not Want" on that one.

For me, it was always the peanut butter cups, followed by 3 Muskateers and Milky Way.

Mounds and almond joy have got to me my favorite, with a frozen twix a close second. Anything to chewy sucks, it takes to long to eat and hurts my teeth.

haha, i loved almond joy and mounds as a kid. even today. Dark chocolate not so much. My favorite back then by far was snickers bars. And my least was the candy corn. gah.

I serious love candy corn, send that shit to me. Reese's Peanut Butter cups were my favorite.

Undisputed worst is The Big Turk. I also used to hate it when someone would give you a toothbrush instead of candy. Thanks for nothing you condescending asshole.

I too, have a special place in my heart for Snickers, but Butterfinger wins every time.

But candy corn and pumpkins are classic, and I alwaysx enjoy them, as well as the beloved Tootsie Roll.

I was going through my son's candy, he got ONE smarties, and no mary janes. I remember getting a lot of both. He got very little of what I normally expect for halloween. Got a lot of dum-dums.

I used to like the bottle caps...except the root beer ones.
