It makes the bike handle much better and be safer at high speeds (the little gold thing is whats called a steering stabalizer).

nice bike. sometimes i wish i had a dirt bike just to play around on. i used to ride them all the time when i was a kid, kinda grew up riding them. my grandad on my mom's side owned a honda motorcycle shop here in greenville, sc off hwy 29. i think it was something like herman brown's honda. mom whould take me and my brother over there like once a week to see him and we would get to pick out a bike and ride it around the shop and on the little dirt hills around back. aaahhh the good ol days. after he retired and sold it, it became grady miller honda. now i think it sells more than just the honda brand. once i started driving, i kinda left all that behind me. i think about it all the time, if i'd knew then what i know now, i'd talked him in to willing the shop to me.

Nice. I want to get an Ohlins damper so goddamn bad but I can't justify $450+ for it right now. How much did that cost you?
