well i was going to my friends house in my 94 Z28  when i saw this Yellow EK hatch with type R on the side.....that was the only sticker he had....so i thought maybe he was serious. i slowed down and got beside him to see what he'd do.....he kept slowing down to like 55.....so i did to....then i jumped the nose and he took off...we both did at about the same time.....he immediately got the jump on me and put about a car length on me then hit the brakes.....i wasn't really in my power band (that's why i'm seelling this automatic POS) and i didn't get a chance to let it stretch it's 8 legs.....but he still won....although i'm sure it would have been different if i had a 6 sp.....oh well

soon i will be driving an sprayed H22 powered EG coupe, then i will go looking for that hatch again....mwahahaha

ps this was in columbia....does anyone know this guy...i think he was asian......thanks

I know exactly who you are talking about. His name is Bee. He has a Yellow EK hatch, with a type R 5 lug conversion and he claims to have a B16 but I think other wise. I believe depending on when you raced him, its should be turbo charged. I saw him at the Rock Last month where he ran low 12's on street tires.

if he has a B16 it was definitely turbo....i've race other B16 powered civics.....no competition......this guy was too fast for a n/a b16......unless it was completely built and stripped....which it wasn't......it looks freakin sweet tho.....i had the windows up w/ the a/c and music going so i didn't hear a psssssssssshhhhhht.....so i dunno....i wanted to talk to him but we could't exactly stop on the highway......i could have pulled him over w/ my blue headlight strobes tho......haha....j/k

My friend jonathon used to have an gsr turbo running low eights. *We looked under the hood and he said yep its a b16. *It was running 9.2 about winter time I think(all motor). *Supposively its turbo now... &nbsp;I think he has type r goodies in the engine too. &nbsp;Maybe it is a built b16 with turbo+good driver

Actually bee has a genuine teg type-r motor with 5psi of boost. He ran a low 12 in the quarter. Good luck when you meet back up with him

well, normally plenty of fuel would be okay, and setting the ign timing down to about 12 degrees static. 5 psi should be very obtainable for an ITR.

But I dont think they have done that, &nbsp;because, just like the Supras that are owned by his big brothers, I see the car &nbsp;broken more often than it is running.

I wasnt aware it has gone low 12s on the street tires, either way, that is impressive. &nbsp;It shows a properly set up suspension if nothing else. &nbsp;I do like the car, &nbsp;the ITR suspension swap is hot. &nbsp;I have plenty of friends that drool over it when they see it. <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

5 PSi on a ITR is not that bad. &nbsp;Anyone have any knowledge whether it is USDM or JDM? &nbsp;The compression is different..higher in the JDM.

I dont personally know the guy, &nbsp;just of him and his brothers. &nbsp;Their bro-in-law is the one that owns the Turbo Civ that I laid down 320hp at 10psi in. &nbsp;If this guy Bee has, say, a set of 310s, or even 440s and a VAFC (I think I remember seeing one) then he can easily supply enough fuel with a 255gph intank pump. &nbsp;I'm more interested in how he accomplishing only 5psi and holding it down. &nbsp;I hope he's not using a Deltagate...

on a side note... the Turbo Civ is getting a brand new LS tranny from Acura. &nbsp;The 1000ccs should follow very soon after. &nbsp;Prepare to be amazed by 400hp at 10psi. &nbsp;I have set that goal, &nbsp;before we even calibrate the boost solenoid. <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>

Well Bee is Sonny and Phongs Bro in law as well.

I know a good bit of specs on the car. The engine has 10.6.1 compression and can see over 8psi of boost. High compression turbo cars are DANK! I mean they run. Car has SAFC and Walburo 255 among a slew of other goodies. Problem has been seen though with the car wanting to drop boost and all. It went 12.5 at over 110mph. Amazing.

Saw stock itr motor at nopi on 8psi put down 310 with a drag gen 3.

Bam are you talkin bout Jonathan Henderson? If so it wasnt a b16 it was an lsvtec turbo running 8.3 at 10psi. Needed more traction and boost and couldve saw mid 7s. He now has another white GSR and im sure it will see 7s within the next 4 weeks.

<font color='#000000'>5psi of boost is hardly considered high for a 10.6:1 compression. We have installed a JRSC into an ITR, which runs at 5.5 psi. It has a stock ecu, stock fuel system and no detonation what so ever. The intake air temp of a supercharger is a lot hotter than the intercooled air of the turbo.</font>
