Want some ideas to save for different facets of life? I found this source after hearing about it on the radio. Might come handy...

Ah yes, the classic motivational savings spiel. It's amazing how our monetary choices add up over time. Imagine how our moral choices will add up over ETERNITY..........

Having money and college just does not mix. My advice is try not to rack up too much debt with the 'free' credit cards you can get at school. For student loans, only take out as much as you need. Talk to an adviser at school for assistance.

Work in the food dorm, I think all of them will deduct your meals from your once a month paycheck. Thats what I did, I worked the front door and swiped ID cards. I said everyones name back to them and 3 weeks into the semester I had about 300 people that I knew them by their first name and they knew me....that was pretty sweet when it came to parties...

That being said, once you start working, always save off the top.

On payday, have your direct deposit put a small percentage into your savings account and DO NOT TOUCH IT. You'll be surprised on how fast it get up there.

Don't buy crap you don't need.... Take the Tyler Durden approach. The things you own end up owning you.

Excellent advice there. I see too many morons living from pay cheque to pay cheque because they can't exercise a little self restraint.

Sounds like an RX7. Mine has been a non stop time & money pit for the past five years.
