I was wondering what people thought about the Focus SVT.  I havent really heard anyone talk about it I was just wondering.  I personally think its an OK car but I wouldnt buy one. I heard it handles well. Slap a turbo on and you can get a good bit of power.

You can get a JR blower for $2799 and get 231-238hp. &nbsp;MM&amp;FF got it to run 13.22 at 102. &nbsp;Pretty kick ass for a 4-cyl Ford and youve got a 6-spd too.

Not fast enough. &nbsp;Beat one in the Impreza from a roll a couple days before I left for school. &nbsp;Really good engine note though. &nbsp;They are about as fast as the last generation Si. &nbsp;Hell who knows, maybe the guy couldn't drive it yet.

May look funny. &nbsp;But the Focus is still a hell of a rally car. &nbsp;Having Colin McRae helps too.

It would be BAD if you could buy rally cars for like $5000 or so

rally cars have been AWD since it was invented.....

Seems like it'd make you faster to remember your own directions very well instead carrying along a navigator.

There is no way you could do it efficiently...The drivers job is to DRIVE not navigate

Why the hell would you have a 2WD rally car??? &nbsp;Anyway, beleive me, there is no way you could remember the turns, its not like they are on a road course going in circles so they can memorize them. &nbsp;They are just given a map of the course and have to make their pace notes off of those. &nbsp;Having the navigator is crucial to going as fast as you can, and not having to slow down trying to figure out whats coming up next, specialy coming up over a blind hill or having a jump around the next corner. &nbsp;I mean, you could do it yes, but not NEARLY as fast. &nbsp;

Without the navigator it wouldn't be as fast paced as it is. &nbsp;Look at some of the SCCA events where they have no navigator, to boring cause they can't really go super fast except in the straights.
