Have 98% of repair records (I think I have had a few slip by like spark plugs and such on accident) since I have had the car, oil changes have been kept up with, all fluids where changed when I got the car about a year ago. Car did 14.1 at Baytown last time it was there. Body is straight minus one little dent on drivers fender due to a hit and run at college should be able to be repaired, no rust as this has been a Texas car all its life.
Reason for selling the car is that my friend is selling his and I want to pick his up.
Known issues (all which are being dealt with and will be updated as they are fixed): heat soak, if you turn the car off it will start right back up fine, but for 5-15 min it will just turn over and not catch. Small oil leak on the oil pan, and A/C not working at the moment, Evaporator Core is leaking, and compressor clutch may be stuck, should be replacing both soon or can before purchase. Interior has one crack on dash due to the sun, steering wheel due to same, and e-brake boot is faded. Paint is faded or chipped in a few spots so it needs repaint (due to what looks like previous owner hitting a sign on front which chipped the top, no structural damage though) and driver’s side window controller will lower passenger side but not raise it. Antenna will not raise or lower but does work for catching the radio. Wiper rear has a minor bit of rust due to rain and rear rubber seals are starting to give (metal under is fine though).
Car is equipped with ABS, TEMS (Toyota’s electronic suspension) an LSD, and a hardtop, which is better structurally for racing, fog lights, and wing.
Overall, this is a very good car with low mileage that I want to go to a fellow supra enthusiast. I love this car for the torque that it has and the rush of the turbo when it hits. People will look when this passes by due to the sound and the lines of the car. Also will get 20+ miles per gallon when you keep it out of boost so will help you at the pump as well as beat up many domestics and many imports.
Some other things of note: Original head unit, Pioneer speakers. Added a rear cover, replaced central valley gasket with a metal one from SupraSport, replaced valve cover gasket, has a billet CPS cover instead of the plastic one that came from the factory. All belts (except timing belt) and most vacuum hoses replaced. New front pads and rotors. New steering rack (previous owner had not repaired a leak in it). New rubber intake accordion and throttle body to 3000 pipe coupler. New VSV valve to the fuel pressure for hot starts. Lower radiator hose replaced when bought, top water hose to turbo replaced. Replaced both slave and master cylinder for clutch, new master cylinder for brakes.
Overall a great low mileage car that will drive home to anywhere. Please ask if you need other details.
if the my friend's car is sold before mine i will close the sale
