(it's been in the garage) the white paint looked pretty good.
the tires looked to be in great shape... i THINK they were almost new yoko es100's on stock rims.
what it needs:
-new battery(it had to get jumped)
-either rebuild the turbo for around 250-300, or get a new one for about ~500. it had an aftermarket turbo. looked to be a t04 on a T3 flange with an internal wastegate. it was leaking oil around the downpipe flange while it was running. it didn't look like it was leaking around the turbo maifold, that's why i strongly believe it is the turbo that's gone. the shop even said so, but they decided not to get it fixed) it has SS lines as well as a turbo timer.
-there's probably a vacuum leak somewhere. it would die down after a while, or when i gave it some gas... or it might be the alternator dying down(hence why the battery is dead)
- a new shift knob.
what it has and what's been done to it:
-there's over $2000 worth of parts and labor into the motor alone. it was rebuilt by a reputable shop here in houston. it has a new block, oil pump, two new rods, and pretty much everything else... there's a whole list of it on the invoice that they had.
-although i didn't get a chance to drive it(cause of the turbo) i shifted through all gears and they felt smooth. the clutch and brake hydraulics felt great.
-it has a turbo timer and i THINK another little gadget in there aswell(SAFC?)
- looked to be new tires
-FMIC with (i think) a greddy BOV.
-some sort of exhaust.. has a nice sound to it.
i think that's pretty much it. PM me if you want their number. they would probably wanna deal with someone local, unless you FULLY arrange for pickup of the car. it has around 147,xxx on the chassis.
the price? give them a price, they're not sure really... they just need it gone. tell me how much you're gonna offer if you want their number.
i know the forum rules say that there must be a price, but i'm just doing them a favor... they will take under 3000 maybe under 2000 for it... JUST GIVE ME A PRICE, YOU NEVER KNOW! they just need it gone, they aren't looking for that much money.
