I bought this thing as a project and a toy for me and my GF but I ran out of space when I got the vert so it needs to go. Fires right up just about evertime(lil trouble in the cold but im not running a choke).
There are a couple of things that need to be replaced. I got it with a generic rear disk kit, the calipers were lockd up and the rotors were shot to hell, along with the rest of the brake system. Ive been slowly trying to fix things, but the closest place I can get VW parts is 2 hours away and only open a couple days of the week.
Here is a list of things it needs
Key switch
Wiring work(mostly done and only effects the brake lights)
Brake work(new kit is 220$ and comes with calipers and if it'll make the deal I will buy the kit)
Front beam housing(50$)rusted out on one side and was discovered when I got it home and tore the thing down.
Needs the car tuned but thats nothing big. I switched from the Webber to the solex because of hill climb problems and an irractic idle.
Will need new steer tires in about 5 months but they are like 20$ each
The fuel pump diaphragm is cracked and is leaking fuel into the oil, I have not run it since this happend and I have disconnected the fuel and drained/changed the oil. Again its another 20$ part.
Just lil nickle and dime stuff.
Thats about all thats wrong with it. Heres a pic and a couple of videos.

The second vid does not do its abilities justice. That climb was made in 3rd gear in solid clay right after a rain. The hill is much steeper than it looks. I have had the rail completely vertical on the small rock faces you can see in the vid and the only thing that stopped me from cresting over was a lip on the edge and the buggies ground clearence.
I am looking for about 1200$ out of it and I find that a fair price seeing how a warrior 95in frame costs 1000$ alone, and a 1835 motor is another 1200$ and not to mention all the upgrades.
