Actually the Wolf EMS web site is here:

http://www.wolfems.com.au/home

I'm having trouble finding much info on the V3. Most all the info is for the new V4.

Ok, just found the V3 info. http://www.wolfems.com.au/products/enginemanagement/wolf3d/version3

you'll want aem WT, AIT, and TPS. Chris Greene at Wolf USA can setyou up. He has been making plug and play kits recently for most fuel injected mazda rotaries, so that may be an option. It's been awhile since I've screwed with a Wolf.

This unit will drive t2 coils. You'll want to use a t2 CAS that needs to me modified by grinding off teeth.

Shit, Frisco. You're right there. If you're inteested, I'll send you the list of compatible sensors and good directions on t2 CAS. I honestly have no clue if a 3rd gen or RE cas can be used with the v3 2.2.

Im interested but the thing steering me away is not being able to communicate with the ecu directly. Have you ever had this thing hooked up to a motor or a stimulator to see how it works?

You can communicate with the ecu directly. How the hell else would you manipulate your maps?

I've gotten a lot of interest, but no one wants this? I want to clear out all my rotary bullshit. So buy up.

Yea still have it, boxed up adn ready to go.

revinrx7, $100 a little on the low side, how about $300 shipped? That a damn good price on a fully functional standalone.

Is it fully functional?

It appears you need a hand controller or memory thingy to operate it.

Yes you'll need the hand held. Please research what entails a standalone before you send me more pm's.:)

Dude, I'm a freakin electrical engineer. I could design my own standalone if I had the time to spend.

The question is pretty simple, do you have just the ECU box or do you have everything necessary to actually program it? Many ECU's can just be plugged directly into a PC but it appears (from the manual you posted a link to) that this isn't one of them.

This ecu will not communicate directly with a laptop. You use the wolf 3d handheld to manipulate your maps.
