black hawk down is about as accurate as you can get from the real thing, short of being a documentary. VERY good movie. if you know the story behind it, it will be even better.

What the fuck are you talking about? Are you on fucking crack? The book was awesome. The movie adaption sucked. The men who the characters were played out are embarrassed by the movie. They hate to even talk about that movie. Their personalities were not properly displayed in the movie. Its all hollywood.

dude, i know what you're saying, but BEING hollywood messes up everything! it always does. like i said if it was a documentary, then it would have been just like the real thing. to me, this is about as close as you're gonna get if it's coming out of hollywood.

all in all though, a pretty good movie.

OMG!! Someone that has that opinion too? That's what I thought throughout half the movie, but every time I mention it people give me these weird looks like I'm crazy. It was OK, not that great, not that bad, it had a couple funny parts but that was it.

That's really the only reason I finally watched it, I put on a protest and refused to see it in the theatre even though my friends went like 3 times (lamers).

okay. that movie, to me, was very funny.. i laugh at almost anything(almost)... especially when i'm drunk(which i was when i saw it). but there is no way in bloody fucking hell i'd go and see it three fucking times!

napolien was ok at best. there were some kinda funny parts, but nothing to shit my over.

The Italian Job (1969)- just simply amazing camera work in that movie, awsome story, awsome car chase. what else could you ask for?

Bullet- steve mcqueen, greatest car chase ever.

Lemans- more steve mcqueen, nothing like old Leman racing

Christian Bale lost like 40 lbs to make that flick - he looks like skin stretched over bones.

The only downside is it's sort of like 'The Others' or 'Sixth Sense' - good story, but you can only watch it once.

"The Professional" (a movie about a contract killer who teaches a girl to kill, in return for teaching him to read. I think :confused: )

yup - she teaches him to read, she does his dishes, etc.

That movie was controversial because of the scene in which the then-12-year-old Natalie Portman tries to vamp Leon and seduce him, but I understand they cut a lot out of the US release. Most of it was put back in for the re-release as Leon: The Professional. Canadian and European copies of the film are the most complete.

Million Dollar Baby is definitely worth watching
