It really sucks when you're trying to work on your car and the job you're trying to accomplish is impossible with the tools at your disposal.

Right tool for the job my friend....numberone rule when working on anything.

Some, if not most autopart stores will allow you to rent a tool....check into it, saves some cash,

i've been there

i went over to a garage to help these guys pull an engine from a japanese car and they didn't even have jackstands or a full metric socket set. 2 hour job ends up taking 10. tards.

ya. When you are deep within the engine, you see a bolt head of a different sort. You spend hours to McGiver it while you are in a decision trap: Whether to continue, or stop the production and go to the store.

thus, like men peeing, you just cant stop in the middle of working on cars.

I only have one car, if I stop halfway because I forget a part, I have to put the car back together and pick up whatever I need.

Try having NO tools. At least I have friends/relative with all the tools.

I probably spend more time looking for the tools I loose than working on my car.

There is a tool for everything.

But in most cases a decent $200 set can do 99.99% of the things you would need.
