I swear, some people are just downright stupid. Since when did naming a kid need the prerequisite of "being unique"? I wouldn't be surprised if I saw Krystufur instead of Christopher.
A lot of the weird ones are taking normal names, and replacing vowels with Ys, or weird combinations of vowels, making it impossible for anyone to pronounce correctly or for the kid to be able to spell its own name. These aren't "ethnic" names, these are suburban whities who think they're making their kid special.
I tried looking up some examples, but frankly looking at that message board hurts my brain. Use your imagination.
edit: found a good example
Since about week 14 i fell inlove with the name Jackson. Im not a person who likes the spelling how everyone does it, so i changed it...to Jaxon. I was so sure it was a boy. Well i was wrong obviously haha..... i couldn't bare to wait for a boy to use Jaxon. So, i changed it again... to Jaxyn. Im totally in love with it. I went on google and all sorts of sites for atleast a half an hour, i've found ONE person with the same name. I am thinking its pretty unique lol. Has anyone heard of really unique names?

I really like Jaxyn! the Y really makes it feminine!
