hey my car...89 turbo II is idoling kinda funny. when i start it its ok for about ten min. then when i stop at a light it goes up to about 2500rpm then back down to about 800rpm. any suggestions? new with the rx7 thing. I had a honda but time for something new. the car is fast as shit though.

I don't know... sounds like he used DOT3 headlight fluid instead of DOT4 blinker fluid.

I hate it when I get those two mixed up. The bottles looks so much alike. It's sucks cuz then I have to drain my blinkers to get my stereo to work again. :slolaugh:

Do a compression test, check your TPS.....check all Vaccuum hoses for leaks, check your TID.......start there and come back once all those are done.

you have a vacuum leak and your dual-plunger TPS is out of adjustment.

I would check for a cracked/damaged ACV first off.

Do they have emmissions where you live?

In about 3 hours you can make your car 50 times easier to work on and remove easily 30lb of crap from the engine bay, and make it run perfectly as a bonus. All you've got to do is remove the emissions crap and keep the very few required vacuum lines (air bleeds for the oil and fuel injectors, one to the MAP, one for the WG, one for the BOV, ..... umm that's it!)
