The home owners have a young daughter- around 5 years old.
Every day this young girl would come home from school (preschool?).
The workers on the site liked having her around, so they made a 'tool belt' from some scrap fabric for her to wear and 'help' around the job site.
The little girl was very happy and enthusiastic about 'helping' around the jobsite for a whole week.
At week's end, the workers on the site all pooled some spare cash for the little girl. The crew leader called the job super, and told him to print a $30 'paycheck' for the little girl- and he had the cash to pay him back.
The job super (builder) showed up late on Friday with the checks. While reading out the paycheck names -her- name was called. Oh, she just beamed with joy at receiving her paycheck, clasping it close to her chest and smiling wide.
The mother (home owner) was there, and thanked all the workers for what they did for her daughter. She told them that she was planning on starting a savings account for her, and this would be the first deposit.
The mother takes her giddy daughter to the bank with the 'paycheck'.
At the bank, the mother tells the bank teller that her daughter has a paycheck to deposit in a savings account.
The bank teller smiles down to the daughter, and asks what her job is.
The little girl says "I do construction."
The bank teller reples. "And how is the construction going?"
The little girl replies calmly "Well, everything would be great if Home Depot would just deliver the fu_king sheetrock."

needless to say, the mother had some special words to share with the job super when they got back. Hopefully they shared them a good distance from her daughter's ears.
