I wish I would have just bought a Turbo II, that swap was/is a pita. Currently I have some sort of clutch/transmission issue that I don't even feel like figuring out right now.

Yep, that's it. I'll have to take the trans off and see what is going on. It was strange because it was working fine, then started randomly one day at the bottom of the clutch pedal travel, and then slowly worked it's way up the pedal over about 150 miles of driving. I can take the trans off and put it back on in a day, but it isn't exactly my idea of fun, especially since I don't know what I'll need to fix.

I asked my certified mechanic friend about it and he gave me a 'WTF?' look when he heard it. The Camaro forums didn't even respond to my thread. I've had a few ideas from the v8rx7 forum to try, but so far I haven't really been able to figure anything out. I have one more suggestion to try and if that doesn't work then it will be sitting for the Winter until Spring when I have money and time to figure it out. I've had so many annoyances with this swap though, stupid little leaks from who knows where and I've had the trans off and on way too many times. This is no simple feat since I remove the radiator and fan, exhaust, driveshaft, and then lift the motor off the mounts and move it forward just to get to the trans bolts. I'm thinking about selling it if I though I could get anything for it, I still may post up a feeler ad.

Plus there is a real nice 88 GTU for sale around here with 50k original miles, and I'd be so much happier with that at this point. :bigthumb:

Good, lol. I personally wouldn't buy a GTU for 3 reasons:

1) They don't exist in Canada
2) I like my power options (I'm basically a bitch when it comes to car features...gimme leather, power everything and performance please :D)
3) I'm a turbo person

Well, he sold the red GXL to buy the White Turbo 2 off of one of our friends. He then sold the T2 for a civic (:ghey2:) and bought that bike as well. Sold the civic, and now owns the bike and a streetported Arctic Silver S4 GXL.

Now...he's selling the bike so he can import a black RHD FD (and still keeping the S4). While i'm coming home in december to buy a black 1987 TurboII.
