Campaign is fucking awesome.

Multiplayer (with the exception of Horde) sucks ass though IMHO. Everyone on the Xbox.com forums and VWVortex.com Gears of War 2 thread is also saying multiplayer sucks ass. They fucking changed way too much from Gears of War 1.

They always do, see RSV and then look at RSV2. I wont play the second one.

The multiplayer on RSV2 is pretty much exactly the same though. Gears of War 2 is entirely different. A smoke grenade can knock you down in Gears 2 (like a concussive grenade) where it couldn't do shit in Gears 1. You can't even do a fucking cycle of maps in Gears 2, so after every single fucking map, you have to go back to the lobby and waste a couple minutes to start the game. Generally, it's fucking stupid.

Haha. I beat the story mode last night. Pretty good, but the very end was a little lacking. There is going to be a sequel though.

HORDE MODE FTW, i got up to 28 so far

I'm at 31 myself. Friends beat it and got the achievment, but I wanted to finish the campaign.

So how many of you guys are still playing this?

I'm in need of a co-op buddy for Insane mode, or a few other folks to help me run through Horde mode.

Yah I am but it still had warranty so Im not cracking it open. I ship it back, get the new HDMI board with LESS RROD problems and new video chip and a free month of XBL. I got a 20gig Pro with HDMI but apparently I got the last run before the new boards came out and they ditched the 20gig model.
